Operations Management Consultant (Intern)

Job Description

The Operations Management Consultant will play a critical role in optimizing performance across company internal logistics and client base. As a proactive problem solver and cross-functional partner, they will drive efficient communication and resolve high-impact issues in collaboration with external partners and internal teams. This role also offers the opportunity to lead and coordinate overseas teams, ensuring operational excellence and alignment across regions. In addition, the candidate will actively support client requests, prepare for daily operations, initiate plans for peak seasons, and build strong relationships that contribute to scalable, long-term growth.
This position begins with a 3-month internship, after which a decision regarding further employment will be made.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end operational initiatives, including planning, execution, and performance optimization across warehouse and fulfillment operations.
  • Own key client accounts from an operational perspective, ensuring service delivery, performance metrics, and long-term relationship success.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex operational issues, driving resolution across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement scalable processes that support business growth.
  • Drive ERP system and process improvements, working closely with IT  teams to enhance operational efficiency and data visibility.
  • Analyze operational performance (order volume, inventory, labor efficiency, cost structure) and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse capacity, labor allocation, and cost control.
  • Identify long-term opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, and all majors are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in English is required. Working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
  • Experience supporting system implementation or process optimization projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce fulfillment (e.g., Amazon FBA prep, order management)

  • Strong coordination, oral and written communication, problem-solving, resilience, and critical thinking skills are preferred.
