Media Relationship Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven media relationship specialist to join our brand solution team, serving both our own business and partner’s brands. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with media partners, influencers, and content creators to amplify our brand presence and drive sales. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute media strategies that align with our business goals, ensuring brands remain competitive and visible in the ever-evolving e-commerce landscape.
This position begins with a 3-month internship, after which a decision regarding further employment will be made.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Media Partnerships: Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with media outlets, influencers, and content creators to promote new product launches, online stores and clients’ brands.
  • Collaborate on Campaigns: Work closely with the product managers and content teams to design and implement media campaigns that align with our clients’ objectives, seasonal promotions or platform events.
  • Monitor Media Performance: Track and analyze the performance of media campaigns, providing actionable insights to optimize engagement, reach, and ROI.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate and manage contracts with media partners and influencers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with company policies.
  • Content Coordination: Collaborate with influencers and media partners to create compelling content that resonate with our target audience, including sponsored branding contents, product reviews, and live-streaming collaborations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Liaise with product managers, operation, and warehouse teams to ensure a smooth implementation of media strategies.
  • Crisis Management: Act as the primary point of contact for media-related issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution to maintain brand reputation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Passion for Marketing: A strong interest in media relations, influencer marketing, and the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey clear ideas to the related parties and negotiate effectively. 
  • Professional Backgrounds: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, media studies, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Marketing Experience: At least 1 years of experience in media relations, influencer marketing, or a similar role, preferably within the e-commerce or retail sector, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate, maintain and develop channels. 
  • Social Media Savvy: Proficient in using TikTok, X, Ins, and other social media platforms, familiar with trendy content, influencers, and hot topics across other media platforms. 
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance and make data-driven decisions, reporting with good logic and visualization.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside standard business hours when necessary to accommodate media events, campaigns, or global partnerships.
