Job Description
As a Data Scientist, you will support the development and implementation of analytics solutions for our company. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product management Team, Digital Marketing Team, and Marketplace Operations Team to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and optimization, contributing to the efficiency of multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and data requirements, as well as to help translate complex findings into easy-to-understand visualizations and reports for non-technical stakeholders
- Support the optimization and improvement of existing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and correctness, and assist in new data collection and processing
- Assist in the development of statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for the company
- Monitor model performance and accuracy, and support the refinement of models to improve results and drive business impact
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Project experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, with exposure to machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn.
- Knowledge of the fundamental principles of statistical modeling techniques, including regression, clustering, and time series analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to develop solutions to business challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with team members from diverse backgrounds and functional areas.
